Dr. Saad Saad is a pediatric surgeon born in Palestine in a family of eight. Saad studied in Cairo University, where is graduated with a degree in medicine. Soon after graduating from Cairo University, Saad did his internship in England and later moved to the United States where he established his career. In the United States, Saad did his residency in pediatric surgery as well as surgery and received certification by the USA board as a pediatric surgeon.
Dr. Saad has achieved great milestones in the medicine world, he has innovated pediatric surgical techniques and has performed many pediatric surgeries to children from as early months to teenagers.
During his high school, Saad desired to be an engineer; this desire changed after he observed the weather patterns in Kuwait. Kuwait has hot summers, and this discouraged him from becoming an engineer. Saad decided that he wanted an indoor job and that is how he landed on medicine.
Saad’s mentor, Dr. Biemann Othersen, helped to sharpen his skills in the field and influenced in to become the best he could be. Some of the things that Dr. Saad learned from his mentor were hard work and treating people equally. The race, religion or financial status doe not matter and this has helped to deal with his patients, and he has emerged to be one of the most celebrated pediatrics.
Some of the skills that Saad attribute to his success today is his research, the thirst to learn more has helped him stand out. Saad also says been organized has contributed significantly to shaping who he is, organization ensures one has a clear plan of what is expected, and it helps one put their priorities right.
